ARC is hiring!

We’re looking for a talented Research Operations Manager to join our team in the Philippines.

Research Operations Manager

Fully-Remote (Philippines) | Full-Time

About the Role

This is a foundational hire for the business. As Research Operations Manager, you'll be the engine that keeps projects moving, owning the coordination, quality control, and operational detail that gets research projects smoothly into field and out again.

We need someone who naturally thinks in processes, checklists and timelines, spots problems before they become crises, and takes genuine pride in a clean, well-run project. You'll work closely with the managing director and be trusted to manage your own workload and drive things forward.

This role will suit someone who is energised by variety, thrives in a small-business environment, and wants to grow with a business rather than disappear into a large organisation.

What You'll Do

Project Coordination

  • Own the operational timeline for each project, knowing what needs to happen, in what order, and by when

  • Obtain and manage fieldwork quotes across quant and qual projects

  • Coordinate across fieldwork partners, recruiters, translation teams, platform providers, and clients

  • Proactively collaborate with the research lead, flagging what decisions or inputs are needed and when, so nothing falls through the cracks

  • Collate stimulus, track questionnaire and discussion guides edits, and distribute project assets to ensure partners have what they need, when they need it

  • Set up and manage online qualitative research platforms, including uploading stimulus and configuring projects

  • Manage respondent logistics for asynchronous qual, including invitations, reminders, queries, and participation tracking

Quality Control

  • Test survey links thoroughly across devices and markets

  • Monitor fieldwork progress, review quotas, and QC incoming data

  • Check qualitative recruitment grids to ensure respondents are on spec

Data Analysis & Reporting Support

  • Code open-ended survey responses, using AI and automation tools where appropriate

  • Support the research lead with basic data file set up and creation of data tables

  • Create charts and assist with report formatting and report production across multi-market projects

Process & Systems

  • Refine operational processes – there's real opportunity to shape how things are done

  • Identify tools, workflows, or automations that could improve quality or efficiency

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in market research operations, fieldwork coordination, data processing, or a closely related field

  • Hands-on experience in quantitative or qualitative research operations – or ideally both

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Tertiary education in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented – you notice things others miss and find satisfaction in getting things right

  • A natural organiser – you bring structure to complexity and thrive on juggling many different moving parts

  • Self-directed and autonomous – you manage your own workload, prioritise effectively, and don't need daily supervision

  • Proactive communicator – you surface problems early, ask the right questions, and keep stakeholders informed

  • Willing and able to learn – this role spans a wide range of tasks and we'll invest in developing the right person across areas they haven't yet worked in

  • Comfortable with technology and curious about new tools, including AI-assisted workflows

Why This Role

  • Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱125,000 per month, dependent on experience

  • All statutory contributions (13th month, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG)

  • HMO supplementary health cover provided

  • 15 days paid annual leave plus all Philippine public holidays

  • Full-time, fully remote with company equipment provided and internet stipend

  • Flexible working hours – you'll control your schedule provided project obligations are met; no need to align with Australian hours

  • Genuine growth pathways as the business scales

What To Consider

  • This hire takes ARC from a ‘team of one’ to a team of two – you'll need to be comfortable working in a very small team

  • Agency workloads are variable by nature. We are committed to work-life balance, but occasionally some flexibility may be required
